Abstract
Objective: To investigate the impact of happy gymnastics instruction on children's physical and psychological well-being. Methods: In this study, 160 children from Liupanshui No.3 Experimental Kindergarten and Liupanshui Experimental Kindergarten in Guizhou Province were randomly selected and divided into study (n=80) and control (n=80) groups based on kindergarten. Children in the control group accepted physical education as ordinary instruction, whereas children in the research group accepted happy gymnastics instruction. The physical and psychological qualities of different groups of children before and after a semester of intervention were compared. Result: There was no difference in height or weight between the two groups after the intervention compared to before the intervention. (P> 0.05). The children in the study group have higher strength, sensitivity, flexibility, and balance quality after intervention when compared to the control group.(P <0.05). Furthermore, after intervention, the children in the study group had higher psychological quality indexes such as thinking cognition and emotion compared to the control group. (P <0.05). Conclusion: Children aged 3-6 are taught happy gymnastics, which has a positive impact on children's strength, sensitivity, flexibility, balance, and psychological quality, and is safe and interesting, making it suitable for use in kindergartens.
