Research on the Reform of English Classroom Teaching in Colleges and Universities Based on Cross-cultural Perspective

Abstract
In the current reform of English teaching in colleges and universities, the educational model in intercultural context is gradually applied to various disciplines. In order to be able to combine intercultural communication and English classroom more effectively, this paper conducts an in-depth study on English classroom model in Chinese colleges and universities from different perspectives. Firstly, the necessity and importance of English classroom reform in colleges and universities from an intercultural perspective are presented. Secondly, it analyzes the problems of the current English teaching mode in colleges and universities from a cross-cultural perspective. Finally, strategies are proposed for the reform of English classroom teaching in colleges and universities in order to provide a reference basis for the future teaching reform in colleges and universities.
