Abstract

With the increase of the group base of college students, the heavy scientific research, study and work, as well as the influence of various internal and external factors, such as the accelerated pace of life, some college students often expose psychological health problems. This study used the receptive Post Rock Music therapy intervention to carry out positive psychological intervention on the depression and anxiety symptoms of the selected students with mental health symptoms, After the trial intervention, there were significant differences in depression and anxiety scores on the Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) questionnaire, which has a good effect on the performance of depression and anxiety, indicating that post rock music has a significant effect on the intervention of mental health. It demonstrates the therapeutic function of post rock music, and provides experimental data and theoretical support for the practice and application of post rock music in music therapy.
