Abstract
Public art education in colleges and universities is an important part of higher education and the core content of aesthetic education in colleges and universities. Whether college students receiving higher education can have higher aesthetic ability, moral cultivation and innovative thinking is closely related to the implementation effect of public art education in colleges and universities. However, in the current educational environment, the public art education in China's colleges and universities has exposed problems such as the imperfect management structure, the relatively single curriculum content, and the imperfect construction of the teaching staff, which have become the factors limiting the effectiveness of public art education in colleges and universities. In order to effectively solve the outstanding problems, we should improve the teaching effect of public art education in colleges and universities by improving management institutions, creating high-quality courses, enriching practice forms, and improving the teaching staff, so as to promote college students to become high-quality talents required by social development.
