Abstract
The application of passive building energy-saving technology has achieved initial success in China, in which the application of thermal insulation material for building envelope will significantly reduce the heating energy consumption in buildings. Taking Aksu Central Passenger Station in South Xinjiang as the research object, this paper firstly establishes a benchmark building model with DeST energy consumption simulation software, and analyses the influence of thermal insulation materials on building load and energy efficiency under different thickness conditions. Then, according to the life cycle cost analysis method, the optimal economic insulation thickness is determined by calculating the total cost of insulation with different thickness in its life cycle. The results show that when the exterior wall of highway passenger station in desert area is insulated with rock wool board, the economic thickness is 90mm. When EPS and XPS plates are used for roof insulation, the economic thickness is 120mm and 100mm respectively. The data obtained through simulation and calculation analysis can provide data support for establishing the design standard for energy-saving of highway passenger stations in desert areas.
