Abstract

Under the current social background, China's film and television media industry has embarked on the track of high-speed development. As major universities that train and provide all-round talents for the whole industry, they are also actively building their own major platforms for film and television. In particular, with the support of relevant policies, the construction of film and television major in private universities in China has developed more rapidly. Under the great environment of flourishing literary and art forms in China, the film and television related majors in different private colleges and universities also have their own characteristics, the teaching level is steadily improving, and the practical conditions are gradually improving. However, in this environment, a large number of problems are emerging. This paper selects Xinyang college, a typical private university in China, as the research object to explore the shortcomings of the college's film and television major platform construction, and puts forward constructive suggestions for the problems that arise, so as to provide reference for the development of film and television majors in the same type of universities.
