Abstract

Marxist ethics is a summary of Marxist ethical and moral thought, a scientific theory of morality based on dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and an integral part of Marxist doctrine. The establishment and development of Marxist ethics as a "moral science" in China has gone through a tortuous process. It was not until the 1960s that the study of ethics really began in China, but it was soon influenced by the backwash of the Cultural Revolution, and the study of ethics almost came to a standstill. It was not until the 1980s that Marxist ethics, as a moral science, was initially established in China. The process of Chineseisation of Marxist doctrine goes hand in hand with the process of Chineseisation of Marxism, which is the combination of the basic principles of Marxism with the specific Chinese reality. The process of Chineseization of Marxist ethical doctrine is the process of combining Marxist ethical and moral thought with the specific reality of China and becoming Marxist ethical and moral thought with Chinese characteristics. The Chineseization of Marxist ethical doctrine is in essence a kind of innovation, and innovation is an important methodology for building a strong socialist modern state, achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, and is of great importance to the economic and social development of contemporary China.
