Centennial Historical Evolution and Successful Experience of Chinese Modernization of State Governance

Abstract

The modernization of state governance has a close linkage with the long-term prosperity and stability of the society and the thriving and prosperous country. For hundreds of years, China has been exploring the state of state governance to evolve from breaking through the constraints of traditional power logic to the tuning and adjustment from the power standard to the right standard and then the logic transition to confirm the power standard. It went through an evolution process from the brave exploration in the period of the new democratic revolution, the steady proceeding in the period of socialist revolution and construction, the leapfrog development in the period of reforming and opening up and modern socialist country construction and then to the comprehensive deepening in the period of a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, so as to form the development context of state governance with the Chinese elements and to establish some basic experiences of building the political premise, maintaining civil rights and setting up open structure. All of these experiences provide a beneficial reference for the human institutional civilization with distinct Chinese characteristics.
