Reform of Higher Education Curriculum in the New Era

Abstract
The aim of this article is to examine the problems existing in the current university curriculum and to propose appropriate reform strategies. The article examines the problems of the current college curriculum, including an unreasonable curriculum, overly theoretical content, and inconsistent with societal needs. These problems affect the quality of education and the overall development of the quality of students. He then discussed the importance of curriculum reform, pointing out its role in adapting to social development and economic needs, improving the all-round quality of students, and cultivating a spirit of innovation. Finally, a strategy for the implementation of curricular reform is proposed, including measures to formulate a sound curriculum, optimize teaching methods and strengthen teacher training and evaluation. The research in this article shows that curriculum reform in higher education is necessary and feasible, which can contribute to improving the quality of higher education and contributing to social development.
