Abstract
In our country, Chinese as a mother tongue, but English is only learned as a foreign language, not as the second language. This kind of positioning of English itself affects the development of English teaching. At the same time, when pre-school children are enlightened to English, both teachers and parents tend to pay more attention to the acquisition of children in the process of foreign language acquisition, while ignoring the loss in language learning. Based on the characteristics of preschool children's foreign language acquisition, this paper analyzes the key factors that affect preschool children's foreign language attrition, explores the strategies and principles of children's English picture book reading based on language attrition, and helps parents and teachers to recognize the correct path of second language acquisition and carry out more abundant and effective reading activities.
