Abstract

With the continuous and in-depth implementation of the construction of socialist ecological civilization, China's socialist market economy is gradually changing to green. Enhancing the ability and willingness of private enterprises to invest in environmental protection is the key to promoting environmental governance in our country. This paper studies the impact of state-owned equity participation on the environmental protection investment of private enterprises. The results show that the scale of environmental protection investment in private enterprises with state-owned shareholders is significantly higher. From the analysis of specific types of environmental protection investment, the promotion effect of state-owned equity participation on enterprises' green transformation investment is more significant, indicating that the promotion effect of state-owned equity on private enterprises' environmental protection investment is sustainable. The research in this paper has specific practical significance and reference value for giving full play to the guiding role of state-owned capital in environmental governance and promoting the green development of enterprises.
