Abstract

Today, people's traditional reading and viewing habits have been increasingly replaced by new media reading methods. The new media communication mode is far faster than the conventional media, and the traditional one-way communication mode has been changed to interactive communication. So, under the new media era's impact, customary paper media's fate is like a lonely boat sailing hard. Based on the environment, the status of conventional paper media has inevitably been shaken. The development of the times is a process of scouring the sand with great waves, and natural selection and forest rules are the inevitable laws of its development. If traditional paper media want to shine a new light, they must make corresponding changes to achieve sustainable development in the new media era. On the one hand, traditional paper media should effectively sta-bilize their existing advantages; on the other hand, make corresponding reforms and innovations to improve content quality, combine them with new media technology, and expand communication channels.
