Abstract
In the "14th Five-Year Plan" new stage, China has entered a "new era of aesthetic education". The Party and the state have increased their support for art education, including music education. Music education has ushered in a new development situation. As the cradle of training future of primary and secondary school music educators, the music education major in normal universities should respond to the call of the Party and the state, keep up with the pace of The Times, actively adapt to the development requirements of the times, and constantly deepen reform. At present, as one of the main courses of music education in normal universities, the music teaching method still faces a series of challenges. In recent years, with the continuous development of the social economy, the demand for talent in the market has been increasing, and market competition has also gradually enhanced. The music education major in colleges and universities has always been the major of conveying talents to society and cultivating a group of practical talents. The music education major in colleges and universities has always been the focus of social attention, and the reform of music education is also the core issue at present. This paper will analyze the curriculum reform of music teaching methods in college music education specialty and put forward the corresponding reform measures.
