Reflections on the Teaching Mode of English Translation in Universities Based on the Network Environment

Abstract
With the development and application of information technology in the field of education, network technology has provided us with a new way of learning. In this context, the English translation teaching mode in the network environment is gradually recognized and promoted by the university education sector. Compared with traditional classroom teaching, English translation teaching mode in the online environment has many advantages, such as flexibility and convenience, strong autonomy, and good interaction. However, how to effectively use this new teaching mode in practice requires in-depth thinking. English translation teaching in universities requires strong practical ability, so conducting English translation teaching in an online environment has significant advantages. Based on the online environment, this article analyzes the current situation of English translation teaching in Chinese universities and proposes some improvement suggestions in combination with the actual situation in the online environment, aiming to promote the modernization process of English translation teaching in Chinese universities.
