“Course Ideological and Political Education” for Civilian Personnel in Armed Police Colleges and Universities Research on Existing Problems and Countermeasures

Abstract

On November 27, 2019, President Xi clearly proposed the new era military education policy at the opening ceremony of the military academy principal training. The military academy has sparked a wave of research on ideological and political education in its curriculum. As an important component of military academies, improving the ideological and political abilities of civilian personnel in the curriculum has become one of the important research directions. This paper focuses on the issues related to the ideological and political education of civilian personnel in the Armed Police Academy. It aims to understand and analyze the current problems through a questionnaire survey. Additionally, it proposes several countermeasures and suggestions, including the definition of ideological and political standards, the establishment of a shared platform, the formation of a teaching team, the implementation of an evaluation and reward system, and the enhancement of ideological and political theory literacy. It provides a theoretical reference for armed police colleges and universities to continuously enhance the ideological and political abilities of civilian personnel.
