Abstract

The emergence of the new coronavirus pandemic has completely transformed the traditional mode of physical education teaching. With everyone being isolated at home, many schools have started to explore online physical education teaching activities in order to ensure the smooth implementation of physical education lessons. This approach offers new solutions for addressing the challenges of physical education teaching during the pandemic and also presents various adjustments for the advancement of physical education instruction. Taking secondary vocational colleges and universities in Huainan City as a case study, this article analyzes and identifies the issues in network sports teaching. The study utilizes questionnaire surveys, telephone interviews, and mathematical statistical methods to gather data from 168 students and 12 physical education teachers. Based on the findings, the article proposes optimization solutions for network sports teaching, focusing on teaching content, student interactions, and teacher management. The aim is to provide valuable insights for the development of sports network teaching.
