Abstract

As a specimen of the times, the rise and fall of the film industry can reflect the historical evolution of cultural outlook. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, China actively transformed the film industry, extended film screening to the vast countryside and factories, and a large number of films praising workers, farmers, and soldiers emerged, meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of the masses of the people. In the new period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization, with the recovery of the "Double Hundred Policy", Chinese films have grown in exploration, and film creation shows diversified characteristics. In the new era, the global influence of the Chinese film market has sig-nificantly improved. The domestic films represented by the new mainstream films have demonstrated China's value, strength, and spirit. In the future, in order to achieve the goal of becoming a cultural power, we should unswervingly follow the cultural outlook of China as a guide, adhere to integrity and innovation, be confident and self-improvement, create for the people and the times, and pro-mote the sustainable prosperity and development of Chinese films.
