Discussion on the Application and Efficiency Improvement of Information Technology in Outpatient Nursing Management

Abstract

With the continuous development of medical information technology, outpatient care management is facing unprecedented changes. The purpose of this study was to explore the application of information technology in outpatient nursing management and its impact on improving service quality and management efficiency. By analyzing the definition, content, and current challenges of outpatient nursing management, this paper further elaborates on the specific applications of information technologies such as electronic medical record systems, nursing information systems, and mobile health in outpatient nursing. The results show that the application of information technology optimizes the work process, improves the efficiency of data management, and enhances the ability of decision support. At the same time, through empirical research and case analysis, this paper evaluates the effect of information technology in outpatient care management and points out the existing challenges such as technology updating, personnel training, and privacy protection. Finally, this study puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, looks forward to the application potential of artificial intelligence and big data in future nursing management, and encourages continuous improvement and innovation. This study has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the informatization process of outpatient nursing management and improving the quality and efficiency of nursing services.
