Abstract

Objective: To study and analyze the value of proprioceptive neuromuscular promotion combined with exercise rehabilitation training in rotator cuff injury. Methods: 100 patients with rotator cuff injuries in our hospital from 2021 to 2023 were selected and divided into a study group and a control group with 50 cases each by random number table method. Patients in both groups received conventional treatment for rotator cuff injury, patients in the control group received exercise rehabilitation training, and patients in the study group received proprioceptive neuromuscular promotion intervention at the same time. Shoulder joint function, pain mediators level, and quality of life after treatment were evaluated and compared between the two groups. Result: After treatment, the Constant-Murley score, UCLA score, and ASES score of the study group were higher than those of the control group; the levels of pain mediators such as DA and sP of the study group were lower than those of the control group; after treatment, the WHOQOLBREF scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group in all fields, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Proprioceptive neuromuscular promotion combined with exercise rehabilitation training in patients with rotator cuff injury can promote the improvement of shoulder joint function, control the level of pain mediators and improve the quality of life, with high application value.
