Abstract
Taking the 915 pieces of college tennis teaching research literature included in the full-text database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) as the original data, we utilized CiteSpace visualization software to conduct co-occurrence analysis and cluster analysis on the collected data. Subsequently, we created corresponding scientific knowledge mapping to demonstrate the distribution of research power in this field, identify the main research topics involved, and outline the development and evolution status of research on tennis teaching in colleges and universities in China. The study found that the literature on tennis teaching research in colleges and universities has not been well developed. It is found that there is a significant amount of research literature on tennis teaching in colleges and universities. However, the cooperation among authors is loose, with more authors publishing papers individually and fewer groups collaborating. Shenyang Normal University, Northeastern University, and the Harbin University of Commerce are the main institutions conducting research on tennis teaching in colleges and universities. The main topics of research include "teaching method," "teaching quality," "tennis technique," and "tennis quality." "Optimization of tennis techniques" and "assessment methods" are the main focus areas of research in college tennis teaching.
