Abstract

In recent years, the increasingly close communication between countries has brought new development opportunities for the translation industry. High-quality translation work is of great strategic significance for accelerating the construction of China's foreign discourse system and improving the international dissemination ability of Chinese civilization. Translators are at the core of the translation process, and their translation skills directly impact the quality of the translation work. Therefore, colleges and universities should focus on training translation talents and enhancing the translation skills of Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI) students. If we only rely on universities to provide training for translation talents, there will be issues such as outdated methods and a limited focus on training directions. In light of the aforementioned issues, this paper explores the establishment of an education training model for industry-university-research cooperation from both internal and external perspectives. It delves into various aspects such as innovative training directions, system development, and mentor training to enhance the industry-university-research cooperation system. The aim is to address the limitations of the current unidirectional training approach for translation talents and tackle issues like the standardization of training methods for high-quality translation professionals. Ultimately, the goal is to nurture a new breed of translation experts with practical skills and innovative thinking to meet the needs of society.
