Abstract

From a sociological perspective, we can gain a deeper understanding of the profound significance of rural traditional funerals. This understanding offers new opportunities to overcome the apathy in interpersonal relationships and enhance interactions between individuals and groups. The ritual can best reflect the essential characteristics of human beings, starting from the practice of rituals, with a focus on the funeral ceremony. The funeral ceremony serves as the focal point of the survival activities of the ethnic group and simultaneously reflects the changes in society. The funeral ceremony in the rural areas of Bazhong is a unique representation of the folk customs of Bashu and serves as an important means to express and release emotions. Studying the development status of Han nationality funeral ceremonies is not only conducive to the revival of excellent Chinese traditional culture but also beneficial for addressing rigid interpersonal relationships and promoting the harmonious development of society.
