Abstract
The bond market plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic development of companies. This article examines the relationship between strategic commitments, financing constraints, and debt choices to explore how the bond market supports corporate strategies. Firstly, strategic commitments serve as declarations of long-term goals for companies, reflecting their plans and commitments for future development. The bond market provides a stable financing channel for companies to raise the necessary funds to support their strategic commitments. By issuing bonds, companies can acquire substantial capital for strategic initia-tives such as expanding production capacity, developing new products, and entering new markets. Secondly, financing constraints represent the limitations companies face when raising funds. Due to restrictions or cost considerations associated with financing channels, companies may struggle to obtain sufficient funds to support their strategic development. However, the bond market, as an important financing avenue, offers flexible financing options and lower financing costs, helping alleviate the financing constraints for companies. Companies can choose the issuance method and term of bonds according to their specific needs, meeting their funding requirements while reducing financing costs. Lastly, empirical research and case analysis have shown that the bond market supports cor-porate strategic development. By providing financial support and reducing financing costs, the bond market enables companies to better fulfill their strategic commitments. With the support of the bond market, companies can plan and implement strategies more effectively, driving long-term growth. In conclusion, the bond market plays a significant role in supporting corporate strategic development. By providing financial support and reducing financing costs, the bond market helps companies achieve their strategic commitments and alleviate financing constraints. Companies should fully leverage the opportunities presented by the bond market to fuel their strategic development.
