Abstract

With the deepening of quality education, physical education has received more and more attention and importance. Physical education is a crucial aspect of quality education, playing a significant role in developing students' physical and psychological well-being and regulating their emotions. Tai Chi, a traditional sports program, also contributes positively to emotional regulation among students. It effectively reduces anxiety and enhances students' interpersonal relationships, fostering harmony and emotional well-being. This, in turn, is vital for enhancing students' emotional intelligence and promoting their overall health and development. Despite schools enhancing the content of physical education programs, many overlook the incorporation of Tai Chi. It is imperative for schools to prioritize Tai Chi instruction, diversify teaching methods, and maximize the impact and value of Tai Chi education. This approach will help enhance high school students' emotional resilience and support their holistic development.
