Research on the Cultivation of Business English Majors with “Double Creation” Under the Background of School-enterprise Cooperation

Abstract

With the expansion and collaboration of the global supply chain, the demand for business English professionals is increasing. However, the lack of emphasis on school-enterprise cooperation has resulted in a deficiency in the practical skills of these professionals, an issue that is receiving increasing attention. School-enterprise cooperation is a crucial strategy for enhancing the quality of talent training for business English majors in local universities. Nevertheless, it faces challenges such as unstable connections and a lack of trust between the two parties. To address these challenges, cooperation should be supported by policies that promote balanced development. This paper analyzes the current state of cultivating business talents through school-enterprise cooperation, identifies existing problems, and explores the factors that influence this collaboration. The findings indicate that to resolve the issues present in current school-enterprise partnerships and to cultivate business English professionals who meet market demands, it is essential to not only increase interactions between schools and enterprises but also to establish various systems that are mutually recognized by both parties. This approach will further enhance the development of professional skills.
