Strategies to Improve the Teaching Effectiveness of the Marxist Basic Principles Course

Abstract

The foundation for effectively teaching ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities lies in enhancing the effectiveness of the course on the basic principles of Marxism. This is essential for fostering virtue through education. The course on Marxist basic principles can guide college students in developing a correct worldview, outlook on life, and values, which in turn improves their theoretical literacy and ability to enact change in the world. Consequently, the question of how to improve the teaching effectiveness of the course of basic principles of Marxism in colleges and universities has attracted widespread attention. Marxist worldview and methodology necessitate our adherence to the concepts of systems and wholeness. We must ground our approach in practical perspectives to enhance the teaching effectiveness of the course on the basic principles of Marxism. This requires skillfully managing the relationships among the teaching subject, teaching content, and teaching object by adopting practical and feasible strategies.
