Abstract

The article examines the historical development of printing technology, detailing the rise and decline of traditional ink printing. It highlights the positive impact of laser typesetting technology on the evolution of printing fonts and analyzes the characteristics of these fonts, comparing the typesetting features of laser typesetting with those of traditional ink printing. Research indicates that laser typesetting offers superior visual effects compared to traditional ink printing fonts, addressing issues such as insufficient accuracy and ink leakage associated with traditional methods. Additionally, laser typesetting demonstrates significant advantages in terms of printing quality, efficiency, and environmental sustainability, which facilitates the dissemination and development of Chinese characters. Consequently, it can be concluded that laser typesetting presents more benefits than ink printing and promotes the efficient dissemination of Chinese characters, positively influencing the spread of printed fonts and Chinese character culture.
