Abstract
In the teaching practice of foreign literature history courses, there is a problem of weak or even missing cultural subjectivity. Under the perspective of cultural exchange and mutual learning, it is necessary to improve the cultural subjectivity of both teaching and learning by repositioning the nature of foreign literature history courses, establishing local cultural awareness in teaching, and introducing Chinese cultural discourse. The improvement of cultural subjectivity will help promote the teaching of this course in combination with Chinese discourse, promote the localization of this course, and enable students to exert their subjectivity and improve their initiative and sense of participation when facing heterogeneous culture and literature.
