Abstract
With the promotion of the concept of curriculum ideology and politics in Chinese higher education, how to effectively integrate ideological and political education in foreign language teaching has become an important issue in the current education reform. Based on the current situation of French teaching in the context of Sino-foreign cooperative education, this paper discusses the implementation path and strategy of curriculum ideology and politics in French teaching. By analyzing the theoretical basis of curriculum ideology and politics, and combining the characteristics and specific practices of French teaching, this paper clarifies how French teaching can promote the comprehensive quality of students through the cultivation of socialist core values, patriotism education, and intercultural communication ability. The study shows that Civics and Politics can not only improve students' language ability, but also cultivate their values, worldview, and outlook on life, enhance their cultural self-confidence and sense of social responsibility, and promote their all-round development in French courses.
