Abstract
With the continuous advancement of aesthetic education in China, particularly under the influence of the “Double Reduction” policy, the comprehensive implementation of aesthetic education has created new opportunities for innovation in music education. Higher education institutions bear the crucial responsibility of cultivating talents in aesthetic education. In response to the evolving demands of the times, universities must plan their educational programs according to local conditions and their specific training objectives. Identifying unique institutional characteristics and leveraging educational strengths should be a priority for ethnic higher education institutions in music education. Consequently, it is necessary to appropriately update and adjust traditional training models and teaching management methods to better meet contemporary needs and cultivate music professionals aligned with societal expectations.
