Abstract
This research paper meticulously examines the application scenarios and benefit analysis of artificial intelligence (AI) within the realm of mechanical engineering. Specific illustrative instances encompass a large-scale automotive manufacturing enterprise that leverages AI algorithms to achieve intelligent scheduling of production lines, resulting in a notable 20% augmentation in production efficiency; the integration of AI-assisted functionalities into the PTC Creo design software, which expedited the design cycle by a substantial 30%; the Fanuc intelligent CNC system that optimizes processing parameters, thereby enhancing processing accuracy by 25%; and the GE Predix platform, which scrutinizes equipment data, leading to a reduction in the failure rate by 30%. These cases unequivocally demonstrate that AI not only markedly elevates production efficiency and product quality but also mitigates operational and maintenance costs, fostering innovative advancements in mechanical engineering. Looking ahead, the in-depth exploration of AI technology coupled with the intensification of interdisciplinary collaboration augurs well for an even broader spectrum of application prospects within the field of mechanical engineering.
