Abstract

School education should base subject cultivation on the foundation of moral education and regard it as the core of the subject to explore unique methods and approaches and to give full play to the important role of the core qualities of the subject. Family and national sentiment education can guide students to correctly understand and deal with the relationship between the individual and the country, and cultivate their feelings of love for the motherland and service to the people, which is closely related to the cultivation of socialist core values. Integrating the education of national sentiment into English reading teaching can realize the organic combination of language learning and cultural inheritance, promote the mutual penetration and integration between disciplines, and improve the teaching effect. Combining the education of family and national sentiment with English reading teaching is an effective way to achieve the goal of curriculum ideology and politics, which helps to implement the fundamental task of education of making people moral.
