About the Translator
Xu Na is a faculty member at School of Foreign Languages, Northwest University, primarily engaged in teaching and research in college English. Her research areas include English linguistics, translation, and language teaching. The courses she teaches encompass Comprehensive English, Practical English Writing, and English Translations of Chinese Classical Poetry. She has led and participated in over 10 teaching and research projects at various levels, published 7 academic papers, and contributed to the development of 2 textbooks on English writing and Shaanxi culture. She has received more than 10 awards, including the Excellent Teacher Award at the university level, a Third Prize in the Provincial Teaching Competition, and the Provincial Gold Award for Outstanding Guidance in a National Large-Scale English Competition.
Ji Weimin is a faculty member at School of Foreign Languages, Northwest University, specializing in college English education with over two decades of teaching experience. Her academic research encompasses applied linguistics, English pedagogy, translation studies, and regional and country studies. She has led and participated in more than 10 teaching and research projects, published over a dozen peer-reviewed articles, and chief-edited the textbook College English. Recognized for her pedagogical excellence, she was awarded the Second Prize in the Shaanxi Division of the National College English Teaching Competition. Additionally, she has mentored students to achieve multiple awards in translation competitions.
