About the Translator

SONG Hui, graduated from Tianjin University of Technology with Master’s Degree, majoring in English Language and Literature, is Associate Professor of the Foreign Language School at Dezhou University. Her research interests include translation theories and practice in college English teaching. She has undertaken several research projects and her articles have appeared in Movie Literature, Journal of Higher Education, and other publications. Proficient in Chinese and English, she is a responsible translator with a profound passion for bridging cultural and linguistic gaps. During the translation process, she deeply explores the original text, artfully capturing the author’s tone and intent in every essay, and maintaining the rigorous and objective academic style of the original work.

FAN Yaru, graduated from Tianjin Foreign Studies University with Master’s Degree, majoring in English Language and Literature, is lecturer of the Foreign Language School at Dezhou University. Her research interests include English teaching, translation theories and practice, and teacher development. She has participated in several research projects and won awards in several teaching competitions in China. With a great interest in translation and teaching, she continuously refines translation skills through teaching and translating practice.

About the Proofreader

CHEN Yang, graduated from Ludong University with Master’s Degree, majoring in English Language and Literature, is lecturer of the Foreign Language School at Dezhou University. Her research interests include English & American Female Literature, translation theories and practice in college English teaching. She has participated in several research projects and attended various international forums as a translator and served as an accompanying translator for diplomatic missions from several countries in China. With a great interest in translation and literature, she continuously refines translation skills through teaching and translating practice. During the translation process, she addresses cultural differences, examines logical coherence, and verifies formatting standards to ensure the professionalism and conformity of the translation work. Through stringent quality control measures, she helps to guarantee the accuracy and fluency of the translation work.

LI Mei, the translation proofreader, is Associate Professor of the Foreign Language School at Dezhou University. Her research interests include Japanese translation theory and practice, and translation technologies, sinology in Japan. She has undertaken several research projects and her articles have appeared in Journal of of Jinan University (Social science edition) and other publications. Proficient in Chinese and Japanese, she is a responsible translator and proofreader with a profound passion for bridging cultural and linguistic gaps.
