Significance for
Authors and Journals
The indexing of journals in the SUDOC database
marks their entry into the French higher education and research library system,
with collection support from international academic institutions. This helps
enhance the journals' visibility and dissemination across Europe and globally.
For authors, once their papers are included in
the SUDOC system, they can be more easily retrieved and accessed by researchers
at French and European universities, expanding international channels for the
dissemination of research findings and increasing opportunities for citations
and academic exchanges. Meanwhile, it helps strengthen the international
recognition of authors' research achievements and supports future academic
cooperation and influence development.
The journals
currently included are:
The
Educational Review, USA (ER)
Advances
in Computer and Communication (ACC)
Advances
in Biological Research (ABR)
The indexing by the SUDOC French University
Library Union Catalog Database further boosts the dissemination of journal
literature and promotes academic exchanges in relevant fields.
SUDOC (Système Universitaire de Documentation)
is France’s national union catalog system for higher education and research
documentation, developed and maintained by ABES (Agence Bibliographique de
l’Enseignement Supérieur), the French bibliographic agency for higher education.
Integrating collection resources from hundreds of French universities, research
institutions and specialized libraries, it is one of France’s most
authoritative platforms for academic literature search and union cataloging.
