Dear Colleagues,
Sustainable agriculture is an increasingly important topic in today's world, as the global population continues to grow and the demand for food increases. The goal of sustainable agriculture is to produce food in a way that is environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable. This requires a holistic approach that takes into account the entire food production system, from farm to table.
In this special issue of our journal, we aim to explore the latest research and developments in sustainable agriculture. We will feature articles that cover a range of topics, including sustainable farming practices, agroecology, food security, and the role of technology in sustainable agriculture.
We invite researchers and practitioners to submit original research articles, reviews, and perspectives related to sustainable agriculture. We are particularly interested in papers that address the following topics:
• Agroecology and sustainable farming practices
• Climate-smart agriculture and adaptation to climate change
• Sustainable soil management and conservation
• Biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services
• Sustainable livestock production and animal welfare
• Sustainable fisheries and aquaculture
• Food systems and sustainable diets
• Policy and governance for sustainable agriculture
