Complex systems and nonlinear dynamics: including network science

Dear colleagues,

The special issue on "Complex Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics" explores the intricate behaviors and characteristics of systems that exhibit nonlinear interactions. These systems are often characterized by their unpredictability, emergence, and sensitivity to initial conditions. The issue aims to bring together research that highlights innovative methodologies and applications in understanding complex phenomena across various fields, including physics, biology, economics, and social sciences. Topics may include chaos theory, network dynamics, and self-organization, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to tackle the challenges posed by complex systems. Through this special issue, contributors aim to deepen our understanding of the principles governing nonlinear dynamics and their implications for real-world problems. It including but not limited to the following topics:

Complex Systems
Nonlinear Dynamics
Chaos Theory
Emergence
Self-Organization
Network Theory
Fractals
Phase Transitions
Sensitivity to Initial Conditions
Artificial Intelligence
Feedback Loops
Agent-Based Modeling
Time Series Analysis
Stability Analysis
Multi-Agent Systems

Manuscript Submission Information

Authors should submit their manuscripts for the special issue by emailing them as an attachment to specialissue@hillpublish.com or by using the online submission system. The manuscript should be submitted by one of the authors, and submissions by anyone other than the authors will not be accepted. Additionally, the submitted manuscript should include a cover letter that specifies the special issue to which the manuscript is being submitted.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). The submitted papers should be properly formatted and written in fluent English. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Guidelines page.
